Orchard Children’s Services are an independent childcare company which was set-up in Ireland in October 2003. Orchard Children's Services is 'not for profit' organisation which means that all profits are ploughed back in to the company to secure resources for children and staff.

We value each individual child and believe in providing the best possible care to young people in our service. Once a young person feels safe and secure in their placement, we then work to provide them with the opportunity to grow and realise their full potential. We believe that every young person has the potential to make changes in their lives and we aim to help them identify positive changes for the future.

The first service we provided was a residential childrens home, however we have since added more services in response to demand. The 'after care' project was the first of this nature, where young people coming out of care who still require support, are given the chance to learn those all important skills which help them become independent.

Since then we've  been looking at other services we feel would benfit the children and young people within the care of the H.S.E and so, offering a broader selection of placements. All information about our services can be found under the services links on this site.
